Step onto the Path to Outrageous Leadership!

Leadership is both an art and a set of skills.  It’s a wonderful combination of communication, psychology, motivation, organization, and self-understanding.  The best leaders understand that they must develop not just their innate abilities, but specific skills, in order to excel and reach the level of outrageously good!

Objectives

·          Identify the key skills of leadership.

·          Identify your own strengths and areas for improvement.

·          Match skills to your strengths and areas for improvement.

·          Learn specific exercises and techniques to help you grow in your role as leader.

Format

This workshop is presented with short lectures followed by individual and group exercises.

·          be equipped to lead teams of people in projects and organizations,

·          have the tools necessary to communicate, evaluate, and participate, and

·          have the knowledge to help others grow in their quest to become leaders.

Topics

·          Get Off The Horse and Pick Up The Shovel – leaders must be willing to do the work

·          Sharing and Telling – when each is appropriate and inappropriate

·          How to Grow Power Teams – effective leaders grow and nurture teams, and create their own replacements

·          Inspiring and Communicating a Vision – the “team” looks to the leader to share the vision and inspire

 

Who Should Attend:

Anyone who aspires to outrageously good leadership!

Prerequisites:

Desire, determination, and drive.

Length of Time:

Available as half-day or full-day workshop.

Class Size:

Minimum of 6 participants, maximum of 20 participants.

Pre-program Preparation:

None

Post-program Follow-up:

Instructor will be available for up to 30 minutes of telephone or email consultation with each attendee for a period of two weeks after completion of the workshop.
